    On Tuesday, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Shakhwan Abdullah complained to the US ambassador in Baghdad about the decision of the Federal Court regarding oil and gas in Kurdistan, considering that the decision would cause negative harm to the citizens of the region.
    Abdullah's office said, in a statement received by "The Information", that the Deputy Speaker of Parliament discussed, while receiving the American Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Tueller, "the political crisis and the decisions of the Federal Court against the oil and gas law in the Kurdistan region and their negative impact and damage on the lives of citizens in the region."
    The Vice-President called on “the need to continue supporting the United States of America and friendly countries to confront security and health challenges, respecting Iraq’s sovereignty and the importance of a positive role in resolving problems and disputes, including the need to implement Article 140 of the Constitution and resolve outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil through dialogue and negotiation according to the context.”
