    The former deputy, Mizar Hammadi, accused, on Tuesday, the Committee of First Team Ahmed Abu Ragheef of practicing verbal physical torture against its detainees, indicating that the detainees on corruption charges were transferred to detention centers in which there are dangerous ISIS elements.
    In a televised interview, Hammadi said, "The committee arrested my brother, who was the governor of Nineveh, Nawfal al-Akoub, and tortured him, gave him electric shocks, and detained him in a headquarters containing ISIS detainees."
    He added, "My brother had a 'hernia' due to electrocution at the hands of the Abu Ragheef Committee, and that whoever was arrested for corruption was imprisoned in a place with ISIS."
    He continued, "The attorney general and the judiciary were afraid of clashing with the Abu Ragheef committee until the Federal Supreme Court issued a decision and to withdraw Abu Ragheef's hand from all the committees on corruption for violating the constitution." Ended 25 D
