A member of the Assembly of Independent Representatives, Hussein Arab, confirmed that at least three committees will be headed by independents. 
Arabs told the official agency, and "Ultra Iraq" follower, that "the independent parliamentarians held several meetings among themselves and agreed to be in one gathering in the file of dividing the parliamentary committees."
He pointed out that "the distribution of committees to independents went smoothly because the majority of them agreed, and considered all committees important and the selection was made according to specialization and desire."
He added that "the assembly drew up a complete paper and everyone signed it, and the members were distributed correctly," explaining that "the assembly included 27 deputies, and we will chair at least 3 committees."
