    The Information/Baghdad…
The former Rapporteur of the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Saffar, called on Thursday, the current caretaker government, to adopt transparency in clarifying the difference between the planned and realized revenues after the rise in oil prices.
Al-Saffar said, in a statement reported by the official “Al-Sabah” newspaper, which was seen by “The Information”, that “if the rate of selling oil is calculated according to the announced prices of oil, starting from 45 dollars per barrel at a reduced price in the budget up to 130 dollars today, then the average price of a barrel will be 90 dollars, and thus Iraq’s imports will be in the range of approximately 150 trillion dinars, and the budget of last year was in the range of 130 trillion dinars, meaning that there is a financial abundance, and the government is supposed to transparently explain this difference between planned and realized revenues, except for other revenues obtained from the Customs and Tax Authority “.
Al-Saffar added, "Under the caretaker government, it will not be able to present a draft budget for the current year or sign investment contracts, and the amount remains in the next budget and can be used to pay off external loans registered on Iraq." finished/25
