    [rtl]The National Committee for Food Security in the Ministry of Agriculture held a consultative meeting with the World Food Program ( WFP ) , which was chaired by Dr. Mithaq Abdul-Hussein  , Technical Undersecretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, and Ms. Elham Jawad Mahdi, Coordinator of the National Committee, and a number of stakeholders in this committee .[/rtl]
    [rtl]During the meeting, they discussed capacity building for the purpose of outlining the required training opportunities, and the role of the WFP   in ensuring price stability in the country and ensuring the  availability of food as a supportive member of the National Committee, in addition to reviewing some of the experiences of successful countries and exchanging experiences to reach the best results and get out of crises with the development of alternative contingency plans .[/rtl]
    [rtl]The technical agent also clarified the importance of food and food security, future challenges, climate changes, and interstate wars, which in turn negatively affect the availability and access to food, which in turn causes food prices to rise. A program must be developed through which these crises are addressed to produce a good result in which Iraq will be able To address these crises, build its capacities, advance the agricultural sector, assist the farmer and peasant  while providing what is needed for the advancement of the agricultural sector, as well as exchanging experiences  and benefiting from the most experienced countries in this field .[/rtl]
    [rtl]This committee aims to achieve  stable and available food security in Iraq, while defining action points in the areas of food security and providing early warning in the event of food crises in the world or the country, while providing strategic storage and setting control and follow-up on prices in local markets [/rtl]
