Yesterday, Monday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi called on the political forces to unite the word regarding the sovereignty of Iraq. The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by Al-Mada that "the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, paid a visit to Erbil in the Kurdistan Region."
The statement added, "Al-Kazemi met with the President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani."
He pointed out that he "discussed the overall situation in the country, and the most important repercussions of the missile bombing that targeted Erbil."
The statement spoke about "emphasizing the rejection of the attack that terrorized civilians, bypassing the limits of international laws and norms, and the directive to form a committee from the National Security Advisor and a number of security leaders, to submit a report on the repercussions of the bombing and collect facts and evidence."
And he added, "Al-Kazemi inspected the site that was subjected to the missile attack, met the people to whom the site belongs, and listened to a detailed explanation they gave about the place, what it contains, and its ownership."
Al-Kazemi stressed, according to the statement, "the necessity of respecting Iraq's sovereignty from various sides, and that this matter has been officially communicated through diplomatic channels."
Al-Kazemi stressed, “The need to adopt evidence, and not be satisfied with doubts, and that there should be security cooperation between the various countries of the region; To confront common challenges,” he called on “the Iraqi political forces to unite the word regarding the sovereignty of Iraq, and that what happened be an incentive to solve the problems and unite the ranks in the face of the challenges facing the country.
