    On Monday, the Sadiqoun Parliamentary Bloc revealed the reason why Kurdish parties prevent Iraqi companies from investing in the region.
    The bloc’s representative, Suhaila al-Sultani, said in a statement to the “Information” agency, that “the Kurdish parties are preventing southern companies from investing in the region to prevent the disclosure of the mechanism for Kurdish companies selling oil outside the country, and to ensure that the lines remain between the Kurdish party companies and the countries that deal with them.”
    She added that "the presence of companies and investors from the central and southern provinces in northern Iraq threatens the interests of Kurdish companies dealing in illegal oil exports."
    And she indicated that "the region illegally exports Iraqi oil abroad, and the Federal Court's decision was clear regarding the oil and gas law, which the Kurdish parties publicly rejected."
