The Border Ports Authority announced today, Sunday, the seizure of (16) containers containing (medicine and medical supplies) in violation of the terms and controls of import at the northern port of Umm Qasr port.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the authority stated that "the efforts of the Border Ports Authority continue to control and hold violators accountable and to prevent the passage of any smuggling or tampering operations in order to preserve the health and safety of the homeland through continuous field work and under the direct supervision of Major General Dr. Omar Al-Waeli. The northern port of Umm Qasr port, with its own efforts and information, seized (16) containers containing (medicine and medical supplies) in violation of the terms and controls of import intended for smuggling.
He added, "A fundamentalist seizure report has been organized and the method has been referred to the Kumaruk Umm Qasr Police Station to present the matter to the attention of the investigative judge to take the appropriate legal measures against the violators." Ended 29 / 92
