, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi directed, on Sunday, to include in the next budget allocations concerned with the heritage and historical aspects.
And the media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, "Al-Kazemi has followed up efforts to revive and reconstruct heritage sites in the old city of Mosul."
"These efforts express the authenticity of the people of the province and their commitment to the advancement of its heritage and historical sites, for example this site, which is more than two hundred years old, after it was destroyed by ISIS terrorist gangs," Al-Kazemi said during an inspection visit to the heritage site of the Al-Tatanji House, which witnessed the reconstruction.
"We directed that the next budget include allocations that take care of the heritage and historical aspects, in order to protect the characteristics of the national identity," he stressed.
Al-Kazemi visited Our House Cultural Foundation in the old city of Mosul, which deals with various cultural activities and supports the efforts of young people in art, culture and heritage, and directed "to overcome the obstacles faced by efforts seeking to support heritage, artistic features, and youth activities throughout Nineveh."
