Masrour Barzani: The people of Kurdistan are continuing to preserve their constitutional rights and will not give up on them
Shafaq News/ The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, today, Sunday, congratulated him on the occasion of Nowruz, noting that the people of Kurdistan are continuing to preserve their constitutional rights and will not give up on them. He also stressed that the region is a permanent factor of stability and did not pose a threat against any party.
And government media said in a statement, received by Shafaq News Agency, that the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, congratulated, today, all Kurdistans on the occasion of the Nowruz holidays, wishing everyone a holiday of love and tranquility.
The text of the congratulation stated: With the shining of Nowruz holidays and the Kurdish New Year, I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to all of Kurdistan, and I especially salute the heroes of the Peshmerga and the Internal Security Forces and the families and families of the martyrs and the honorable Anfal, wishing everyone a happy holiday full of tranquility and filled with love and joys. He took advantage of this joyous occasion to call upon all citizens to preserve the cleanliness of the environment during tourism, hiking and travel, and to abide by traffic instructions.
Nowruz has been for the people of Kurdistan, since ancient times, and still is, a symbol and meaning of steadfastness and facing injustice and oppression in the course of struggle, freedom, salvation and liberation. The people of Kurdistan are still continuing their struggle to preserve and defend their constitutional rights, adhering to their principles and national demands and will not give up or abandon them under any pressure and circumstance.
On this occasion, we reiterate that the Kurdistan Region, as you have entrusted it, will always remain an important factor for security and stability in the region, and has never posed a threat against any party. On the contrary, in addition to defending its rights guaranteed by the constitution, it played its pivotal role in consolidating the values Tolerance and peaceful coexistence between the various components of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
