    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

Iranian gas supplied to Iraq has returned to rise to record 20 million cubic meters instead of 8 million cubic meters, a rise that may lead to raising electricity production in Iraq and processing capacity by about 15%.

The Ministry of Electricity announced that the quantities of Iranian gas supplied to Iraq have risen to 20 million cubic meters, after it was 8 million cubic meters, but it noted that this quantity does not meet the country's need at the present time because the current need reaches 45 million cubic meters.
Iraq used to import from Iran daily in normal times about 50 million cubic meters in the winter, and with the return of 20 million cubic meters, this means that 40% of Iranian gas to Iraq has been recovered, and it needs the remaining 60%.
As for the summer, Iraq needs 70 million cubic meters, according to al-Abadi, which means that the 20 million cubic meters is only 28% of the summer need.
And produces 20 million cubic meters, about 2.5 gigawatts, which will lead to a rise in Iraq's production of energy from 14 to 16 thousand megawatts, an estimated rate of about 15%.

Al-Abadi affirmed Iraq's readiness to pay all previous and subsequent dues for the imported Iranian gas, and that negotiations in this regard are continuing.
In another context, Al-Abadi indicated that there are talks with the Qatari side to supply gas shipments of 1.5 million tons to meet part of the country's need for gas and also to diversify its sources to create new market outlets for the electrical system.
