The Iraqi Consultative Council suggested that the quorum for the presidential election session would not be completed in the absence of agreement between the Sadrist movement and the coordinating framework.
Parliament Speaker Farhad Alaeddin said in a tweet on Twitter that in the absence of an agreement between the current and the framework, the quorum for the presidential election session will not be completed, explaining that about 20-30 deputies will be absent for various reasons.
He added, that the boycott wing includes the framework, the National Union and the determination of any one hundred and eighteen deputies, noting that the attendance at best will be one hundred and ninety-one deputies.
