The Council of Ministers, in its session today, Thursday, issued several decisions.
A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Media Office, received by Al-Nabaa, said, "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi reviewed, at the beginning of the session, the general situation in the country, the developments of the global economic crisis that affected Iraq, and the mechanisms for following up on the measures taken by the government to mitigate the effects of the crisis and its repercussions in the local market." Iraqi".
During the session, according to the statement, a detailed presentation was given about the needs of Nineveh Governorate after the visit of the Prime Minister to the governorate this week, where the Cabinet issued several directives regarding the following:
1- Follow-up on the conversion of the lands of Al-Ghazlani camp.
2- The work of banking companies in Nineveh Governorate.
3- Workflow in the reconstruction of Mosul Airport.
4- Investment in the Mosul Hotel.
5- Reconstruction of Ibn Sina and Al Gomhouri hospitals.
6- Development of Hawally Street and the Sixth and Seventh Bridges.
7- Follow up on the issue of dilapidated buildings.
8- Circuits transferred validity.
The session witnessed, according to the statement, a review of the latest health measures related to reducing the Corona pandemic, a review of the applications taken in this regard, and a review of the efforts of the Ministry of Health regarding the continued provision of treatments and vaccines and the flow of their distribution in the approved official outlets.
According to the statement, after the Council of Ministers discussed the topics on its agenda, it issued the following decisions:
First / Approval of the issuance of the pension fund system for teachers and workers in universities, colleges and private institutes, which was audited by the State Council, based on the provisions of Clause Three of Article (80) of the Constitution, and Article (45) of the Private Higher Education Law (25 of 2016), taking into consideration With interest, the notes of the Legal Department of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers confirmed by its memorandum numbered (Md / Q / 2/2/67 LQ) dated February 28, 2022.
Second / Approval of the recommendation of the Ministerial Energy Council (7 of 2022) regarding the approval of the Economic Affairs Committee’s approval in its letter No. (SL/221 dated February 28, 2018) for the expansion project of the Diwaniyah Refinery instead of Kirkuk Governorate, provided that the Central Refineries Company (Project Owner) by providing the infrastructure, supporting units and all associated projects that guarantee the success of the project implementation, and bear all responsibilities for the integrity of the legal and financial procedures for the above contract.
Third / the inclusion of the marine export pipelines project (4, and 5) in the investment budget of the National Oil Company within the draft federal budget law for the fiscal year / 2022, provided that the National Oil Company / Basra Oil Company completes the procedures for preparing and receiving all offers and recommending referral and not contracting until Approval of the project with the budget and the availability of financial liquidity in the shortest and most professional way; To ensure the capacity of the project.
Fourthly/ 
1- The Ministry of Finance finances the Ministry of Culture/Department of Cinema and Theater in the amount of 500 million dinars, for the purpose of supplementing the entitlements of the aforementioned department’s contracts for the year 2021.
2- The Ministry of Finance finances the aforementioned department with a grant of one billion dinars for drama and other artistic activities.
3- The disbursement is made according to Resolution (5 of 2022).
Fifth / Approval of the Ministry of Water Resources / General Authority of Dams and Reservoirs to rehabilitate the site of the old Hindiya Dam, which was included on the World Heritage List for Irrigation, and from the allocations available to them, due to the importance of this landmark internationally.
