The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, praised, on Saturday, the parliament session that took place earlier today, despite its failure to elect a president of the Republic of Iraq, strongly rejecting what he called “Al-Attar’s plan” and a return to quotas in sharing positions in the next federal government.
[size=45]Al-Sadr said in a tweet, "Thank you to everyone who attended the session out of love for Iraq: Thank you Alliance to Save the Homeland, thank you for an extension, thank you for the new generation, thank you for the independent brothers.[/size]
