    Information/Baghdad…
A member of the House of Representatives for the coordination framework, Aref Al-Hamami, expected, on Monday, that the number of boycotters of Wednesday’s session devoted to electing the President of the Republic would rise to 137 deputies.
Al-Hamami said in an interview seen by "The Information", that "until now, there have been no understandings and no resolution of matters; Therefore, the coordinating framework adheres to its position and will not attend the parliament session next Wednesday,” expressing his hope that “there will be an understanding before the session.”
He added, "If there are understandings, surely there will be a change in the situation," noting that "the number of deputies who boycotted the session to choose the president of the republic amounted to 126 deputies, according to the signatures we collected, in addition to deputies who did not attend the session and did not sign," expecting that "the number of boycotters will reach more than out of 137 deputies, and in this case, the blocking third is still in place.”
Al-Hamami denied that “there will be withdrawals from their side, but from the second party to the framework, and what is rumored about a solution to Parliament in the absence of a session to elect the President of the Republic is not true, but there are parties who took this issue as a pretext to intimidate some independents to change their position,” stressing “Parliament will continue in its regular sessions until an agreement is reached on choosing the president of the republic.” finished/25
