There are no discussions or communication with any party in order to reach consensus about the presidential candidate
The leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Shwan Taha, said that "the failure to hold the next parliament session to choose the president of the republic will lead all political parties towards the unknown," calling on the boycotting political forces to "review their accounts well."

In an interview with "Ultra Iraq", Taha indicated that "the National Salvation Alliance is cohesive and strong, and it cannot be influenced by this number of boycotts, which is trying to thwart the entire political process," stressing that "the project of the national majority is a successful and encouraging project, and the boycotting parties must also make it a success by joining it." Not standing in his way and going back to the years of failed governments and disappointed the aspirations of all Iraqis."
The leader stressed, "The coalition candidate, Reber Ahmed, and there is no one else, and there are no discussions or communication with any party in order to go to consensus about the presidential candidate," noting that "the position of the President of the Republic is a Kurdish entitlement and is not restricted to a particular party, no matter how lenient during the years." past given to him.
He added: "Now the results differed in these elections, and the Democrat sees that he has the ability and ingredients for a leadership figure who can take control of matters to move the position towards strengthening the state's decision and highlighting the true face of it internally and externally."

Perhaps everyone will have to go towards dissolving parliament and re-electing, which we think no one will accept
Taha pointed out that "the next session is open to all possibilities, and positive developments that did not happen in the previous session can happen," warning that "the blocs and the boycotting parties have to re-calculate and think about the consequences of any negative possibilities that everyone may have to go towards, such as dissolving Parliament and re-electing, which we believe that No one will accept it, which indicates the need to resolve matters quickly."

On the other hand, the representative of the Sovereignty Alliance affiliated with the "Save the Homeland" coalition, Raad Al-Dahlaki, says that "all options are open after the constitutional period has passed without electing the president of the republic."
In a television interview, followed by "Ultra Iraq", he believes that "the independent representatives are in the most critical situation at the present time, and we hope not to pressure them," noting that "the independent representatives have the right to negotiate committees and ministries and meet the aspirations of their voters."
He added, "We are with the formation of a consensus government, not a consensus, and if Jaafar al-Sadr is not a guarantor, let us tell the coordinating framework, which al-Amiri says is the guarantor of the Shiite component, and to nominate someone other than Jaafar al-Sadr."
Al-Dahlaki expected that "Wednesday's session will proceed with the election of the President of the Republic, according to negotiations with those who believe in change," as he put it.
Earlier, the representative of the Sovereignty Alliance, Abdul Karim Abtan, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] his optimism about Wednesday's session, which is "not impossible" from his point of view, and the reason is that "some of the absentees are close to the tripartite alliance."
Abtan suggested that the quorum in Wednesday's session would be "greater than scheduled", as he mentioned the absence of MP Khaled Sultan Hashem for Saturday's session and the possibility of him attending with 4 or 5 independent deputies to Wednesday's session.
