Barzani had said in a speech at the World Energy Forum in Dubai that (a strong and economically independent Kurdistan does not pose a threat to its neighbors or to Baghdad), and added, (we are ready to compensate part of the oil shortage in Europe, and we appreciate the investment and partnership between all energy companies located in Kurdistan) and accused the court The Federal Supreme Court declared its decision unconstitutional, and said that it (does not represent a challenge in attracting investors in the field of oil and gas).
During his speech, Barzani highlighted the future energy opportunities in the Kurdistan Region, as well as talking about future steps in this regard.
And the Intelligence Agency announced the arrest of a terrorist suspect for threatening and blackmailing oil companies in Basra. The workshop witnessed the presence of the Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, and the agents and general managers in the center of the ministry, the National Oil Company, and the committees formed for this purpose.
The ministry had formed specialized committees in implementation of the decision of the Federal Court.
