    Representative and member of the Coordination Framework, Muhammad Al-Ziyadi, called, on Thursday, for political forces to limit the food security law to the assistance of the poor classes that were affected by the rise in dollar prices, stressing that the framework seeks to include only three categories to be passed.

    . Al-Ziyadi said in a statement to the “Information” agency, that “the coordinating framework considered the food security law as a proposal and identified it with only three categories. The first is to double the ration card and distribute it on a regular basis to the citizen, and the second is to improve social welfare salaries.” The third is to provide all medical supplies.”
    He added that "the food security law should not continue in the coming years, but rather is considered a temporary case for resolving economic crises and the rise in prices of basic commodities in global markets."
    Al-Zayadi indicated that "the Food Security Law will not be passed through the House of Representatives in its entirety, and members of Parliament are working to radically amend it."
    The head of the National Nahj bloc, Ahmed Al-Rubaie, earlier criticized the parliament’s attempts to pass the emergency support law for food security and development, while passing the law was considered a dangerous precedent in the history of Iraq.
