    Information / Baghdad..
Economist Manar Al-Obaidi revealed, on Saturday, that Turkey exported goods to Iraq worth more than 10 billion dollars last year.
Al-Obaidi said, in a post on Facebook, that “the volume of Iraq’s imports from Turkey for the year 2021 amounted to more than 10 billion US dollars,” noting that “12 of them represented a third of imports, or 34% of all imports.”
He explained, "Golden ornaments made of gold or plated topped the imports with a value of 1.4 billion US dollars, then flour by 480 million US dollars, then poultry (cut and uncut) with a value of 372 million US dollars, and then biscuits and local cakes with a value of 216 million US dollars. .
He pointed out that "except for gold, bedrooms and aluminum to some extent, the rest of the materials are consumables in less than a month, meaning that these materials have no value after selling them, and therefore the money was given to Turkey and we consumed them completely," noting that "most of these materials can be manufactured and produced in Iraq." Whether flour, poultry, cakes, or even diapers.” finished/25h
