    BAGHDAD / NINA / Head of the Iraqi National Alliance Ibrahim Jaafari, together with members of the Iraqi National Reform Movement, discussed on Wednesday, in his office in Baghdad with a delegation from the Islamic Supreme Council, headed by Mohammed al-Hashemi, the stages of forming the next government.

    A statement by the Chairman of the National Alliance said that they had discussed, during the meeting, means to complete the current phase, and the formation of a strong government based on efficiency, specialization, and integrity, with an emphasis on the participation of e all political components of Iraq according to a comprehensive government program that would face the security challenges, and the phenomena of corruption, and the files of reconstruction, investment, and foreign relations; as well as strengthening the role of the Iraqi National Alliance in the next phase, and turn it into an effective institution concerned with political affairs in the country.

    Jaafari is clearly involved in the formation of the next government thus he has input and I'm speculating at least some of previous appointment decisions during all those National Alliance meetings are being considered... If they move quickly I think much of the seats will be filled with such appointments...
