Political analyst Kamel Al-Bayati said, on Tuesday, that the Speaker of Parliament, because of the failure to hold parliament sessions, made the questioning of the corrupt a difficult matter, pointing out that the deputies had become unable to question the government, which prompted it to take decisions that are not in the interest of the people.
Al-Bayati said in a statement to "The Information", that "the oil file in the region and the government measures taken in this regard, as well as closing border crossings and causing prices to rise, are all files that need to be presented within Parliament and questioned by the government regarding them."
He added that "a lot of political statements regarding the questioning of the parliament by the representatives of the government, but there is an impossibility for this to happen, due to the failure to hold the sessions of the Council and the failure to activate such an order by the Speaker of Parliament."
And Al-Bayati indicated, "The formation of the new government may take a long time, which requires the House of Representatives to host the government to put points on letters and impose the supervisory authority and hold it accountable for some decisions that are not in the interest of the people." finished/ 25 n
