Earth News/ The Director General of Civil Defense discussed with a delegation from the French Embassy today, Thursday, ways to activate joint cooperation between the two sides.
The Defense Directorate said in a statement that Earth News received a copy of it, that "the Director General of Civil Defense, Major General Kazem Salman Buhan, received the delegation of the French Embassy in Baghdad to discuss ways to activate joint cooperation in the field of civil protection and civil defense, coordination and discussion in order to visit the delegation of experts on firefighting affairs in the capital." Paris for the sake of residence, coexistence, and the participation of Iraqi civil defense men in carrying out their work tasks, to see the obstacles facing the Iraqi civil defense and the mechanism to overcome them through the establishment of training courses prepared and specific to the nature of the Iraqi field reality.
The statement added, "It is hoped that this joint cooperation between the two sides will be implemented in the areas of training in the near future. At the end of the visit, the French side presented a special book containing a number of photos of accidents that the French civil defense teams dealt with in the capital, Paris and other French cities."
