[rtl]On Thursday, the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, called on the government not to proceed with the implementation of the Basra-Oqba oil pipeline project, considering it an incomplete management government .[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Maliki said in a statement, "The government's decision, which is a running government with constitutional authority in the contract to extend the Basra-Oqba oil pipeline, represents a violation of the constitution and is an explicit legal violation that requires the Federal Court to stop it and stop all decisions and laws issued by this government ."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "We are with the multiplicity of outlets for exporting energy resources to the countries of the world, but provided that it does not include a waste of public money or the Iraqi citizen will bear the damages thereof," calling on the government to "stop and not proceed with the implementation of the project and leave the matter to the next government ."[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Maliki recommended "the need for balance in the export of oil and that most of it is not confined to the south," calling for "to dispel the suspicion that Iraqi oil will reach Aqaba and from there to the Zionist entity ."[/rtl]
