    The president of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, on Thursday, supporting the Kurdistan region to take charge of Haider al-Abadi as prime minister.

    According to a source familiar with the "President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, Prime Minister-designate contact Haider al-Abadi said that the Kurdistan Region declares its full support to take over the post of prime minister Abadi."

    Hmmm with all the talk of seceding from Iraq suddenly Bazani is having a Kumbya healing moment. There must have been some sweetener's tossed into the conversation, perhaps HCL and Peshmerga salaries being included in the federal budget?....

    Barzani emphasizes his full support to PM-designate

    aghdad (Forat) -The president of the Kurdistan region, Masoud Barzani declared full support for the assigned prime minister, Haider al-Ebadi to form a new Iraqi government.

    The presidency of the province in a press statement that "the regional president Masoud Barzani made a phone called with Ebadi and discuss with him forming a new Iraqi government, declaring his full support to him." 

    Barzani, according to the statement "Hoped to form a new national government," stressing "the need to involved all Iraqi factions in the government formation." 

    President Fuad Masoum assigned the National Alliance's candidate Haider al-Ebadi officially to form a new government. /End/

    Did I read somewhere Kurds would get 20% instead of the 17% they had talked about? Did anyone else read that or did I dream this up? If so that would sweeten the pot.
