    Investment projects are currently gaining great importance for all societies. Investment today is a pillar of the national economy and its presence represents one of the mainstays of development, development and prosperity. Since its inception, the Baghdad Investment Commission has focused on developing new plans and expanding its work horizons. It granted investment licenses to all sectors and gave priority to housing in them. During its work, the authority sought to overcome the obstacles and obstacles facing the investment process or reduce the negatives and loopholes that it had previously experienced, including the population and traffic momentum that the authority worked in cooperation with the sectoral authorities to withdraw from within the center of the capital towards its outskirts, as the authority’s directions during the recent period began to move Actually towards the parties to achieve the expansion of the capital, Baghdad, through these projects.

    Among the projects granted by the Commission an investment license and implemented in the outskirts of the capital, we mention, for example, but not limited to (Ibn Firnas Residential Complex, Al-Zaytoun Residential Complex, Abu Al-Fadl Residential Complex, New Kadhimiya Residential Complex, Lebanese University Hospital, High and Medium Voltage Electrical Equipment Industry Project box station structures, plastic grooved and coated tubes production plant).

    The authority has also recently developed several projects that are currently being worked on in the east and west of the capital, among the most prominent of these projects (a factory for the production of medicines and medical supplies, a steel production plant, and the Al-Jawhara residential complex).

    It is mentioned that these projects will achieve several goals in addition to their economic feasibility, including providing many job opportunities for young people and local competencies and expertise. It will also diversify sources of income and develop the economic process and push it forward.
