    Earth News/ The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, promised today, Saturday, to increase Najaf’s financial allocations in the “Food Security and Budget” laws, while calling on the Najaf Police Command to combat negative phenomena such as drugs, and taking into account the targeting of holy cities.
    His media office said in a statement received by Earth News, "Al-Zamili completed his field tours of the governorates and the holy cities, with a visit he made today to Najaf Governorate, during which he visited the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), the governorate building, and the headquarters of the Najaf Police Command, days later. From his visit to the city of Samarra and the holy governorate of Karbala, to give privacy to these governorates due to their religious and cultural status, and to receive millions of visitors annually.
    Upon his arrival in the governorate, Al-Zamili was honored to "visit the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, and he was briefed on the plans for developing and rehabilitating the purified kindergarten and the Noble Sanctuary, and listened to the needs of the shrine and pledged to quickly follow them up with the concerned authorities."
    The First Deputy continued his tour by visiting the governorate building, where he held a meeting with, Majid Al-Wael, “the governor of Najaf, and in the presence of Major General, Basem Al-Asadi, the governorate’s police chief, “to find out the needs of the governorate and projects to develop its infrastructure, and to emphasize the increase in financial allocations to the governorate in my law.” Food security and the budget,” due to its symbolic and religious specificity, and the need to be on the level of Najaf and its history.
    Al-Zamili concluded his field tour by visiting the Najaf Police Command, where he discussed with Major General Basem al-Asadi, the provincial police chief, and in the presence of the governor, the need to combat negative phenomena in society, the most important of which is drugs, and taking into account the targeting of the holy cities, as well as the ongoing preparations to receive visitors to Najaf during the days of Eid.
