Today, Sunday, President Barham Salih discussed relations with Egypt and Qatar in various fields to serve common interests and the security and stability of the entire region.
And the media office of the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received two phone calls from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, and the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa, where they expressed their blessings to President Barham Salih. By the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, and their good wishes to the Iraqi people of peace, prosperity and progress.
He added, "During the two phone calls, it was emphasized the importance of bilateral relations with Iraq and their development in various fields in a manner that serves common interests and the security and stability of the entire region."
During the two calls, Saleh expressed his hope "that security, stability and prosperity will prevail throughout the region and its people, and that the challenges and tensions surrounding it will be overcome through cooperation and joint coordination for the benefit of the countries of the region."
