Today, Monday, the representative of the Coordination Framework, Muhammad Al-Ziyadi, confirmed that most of the deputies refused to pass the food security law sent by the caretaker government.
Al-Zayadi said, in a statement followed by the news agency, that "the law of emergency support for food security includes major observations as it gives the government the authority to access percentages of funds outside its powers."
He added, "The law in its current form will not pass within the House of Representatives due to the parliamentary rejection of it, pointing out that" there is a state of shock suffered by many members of the House of Representatives as a result of the figures circulated in the draft food security law."
The economist, Diaa Mohsen, warned against passing paragraphs that are not related to the ration card and health support in the draft food security law, while noting that the food security law cannot be a substitute for the budget law.
