Trade: The Food Security Law provides 3 million tons of wheat as a strategic stock

The Ministry of Commerce confirmed, on Saturday, that the Food Security Law allows obtaining three million tons of wheat as a strategic stockpile.
The ministry said in a statement, "The Food Security Law that will be approved by the House of Representatives allows the ministry to obtain a quantity of three million tons as a strategic stockpile for wheat."
And she added, "This quantity will make Iraq out of the danger of the economic crisis because of the quantities proposed as strategic storage, and secondly, the marketing season and the large quantities that it achieves after the decision of the Council of Ministers to increase the prices of wheat to 750 thousand tons and make the agricultural plan open, and thirdly, the Australian and German wheat stores that reached the southern ports.
