, the Investigation Department of the Integrity Commission reported, on Monday, that it had made four separate seizures in two government banks in the Diyala governorate, indicating the seizure of fraudulent loan transactions, which caused damage to public money.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the department stated, "The work team of the Investigation and Judicial Control Division in the Diyala Investigation Office, which moved in the first operation to Al-Rasheed Bank - Ashnona Branch, was able to seize the origin of (6) forged loan transactions, explaining that the value of the amounts The financial disbursed as loans to purchase cars amounted to (80,423,000) million dinars.
She added, "The team carried out three separate operations on different dates in the Agricultural Bank in the province," noting that "those operations resulted in the seizure of (4) fraudulent agricultural loan transactions that were granted to a number of borrowers in violation of the law and instructions, which led to damage to public money.
She explained that "the value of the damage caused by the loans granted by the Agricultural Bank in the province in these operations, amounted to (94,000,000) million dinars."
The department indicated that "four arrest reports were organized and presented to the judge of the Baquba Investigation Court, which is competent to hear integrity cases, in order to take the appropriate legal measures." Ended 29/N33
