, Member of Parliament Ahmed Al-Rubaie said, on Wednesday, that the passage of the Emergency Support Law for Food Security and Development will depend on the amendments that will be made to it, and taking into account the "dozens of observations" addressed by the deputies in the previous sessions.
Al-Rubaie added, "Some of these observations relate to the origin of the law because it came from a daily caretaker government," noting that "the internal system of the House of Representatives does not allow such a government to act on strategic matters and issues for the country, including those related to submitting laws to Parliament."
He stated that "
Al-Rubaie pointed out in an interview with the official newspaper, which was followed by "Mawazine News", that "passing the law will depend on adapting its origin to the fact that it came from a government that handles daily affairs and considering the notes that were recorded on the articles of the law."
