    The Information/Baghdad..A well-
informed political source revealed, on Tuesday, that the leader of the Progress Party, MP Muhammad Tamim, had negotiated with other political parties, most notably an alliance of determination to dismiss the current Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, indicating that Tamim would be one of the candidates to take over the position.
The source said, in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "the former minister and the current deputy, Muhammad Tamim, who is considered close to al-Halbousi, began to meet with prominent Sunni leaders in Baghdad, most notably leaders in the Azm Alliance in order to arrange the political situation of the Sunni house again."
He added, "Tamim and the Sunni political parties fear that Al-Halbousi will continue to monopolize decisions and acquire contracts and projects in the liberated governorates, which made them move according to their conflicting interests with the latter."
The source pointed out that "the Sunni leaders will approach the Shiite and Kurdish forces that a consensus has been reached to replace al-Halbousi and nominate a replacement for him, and he will most likely be Tamim."
And the representative of the coordination framework, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, confirmed earlier, that the tripartite alliance had failed to achieve its most important dreams by forming a majority government, indicating that the tripartite would not achieve the conditions of the political majority and Saud would open the doors for dialogue. finished/25 d
