Today, Tuesday, the Dhi Qar Oil Company announced the preparation of a new integrated plan to connect the new wells in the Nassiriya oil field to raise the level of production.

A source in the company's media told Al-Maalouma, "An integrated plan has been prepared to connect Nasiriyah wells 33 and 34 and complete the scheduling of linking them to the second southern wellhead complex, in order to raise the level of oil production in Dhi Qar Governorate."
He pointed out that "the new connection will mainly contribute to increasing production from the Nasiriyah gas isolation plant in Dhi Qar Governorate."
He added, "All work will be completed in accordance with the technical specifications and standard quality standards in force globally."

The Nasiriyah field, which was discovered in 1973, is considered the largest in Dhi Qar governorate, at a time when priority estimates indicate that the oil reserve is estimated at more than 16 billion barrels.
