Today, Sunday, the Federal Integrity Commission announced the issuance of an order to bring in the former Director General of the Health Department in Salah al-Din Governorate, against the background of a case of waste of public money.

And the investigation department of the authority stated in a statement, "The Salah al-Din Investigation Court, which specializes in integrity issues, issued an order to bring in the former Director General of the Health Department in Salah al-Din, where the accused equipped health institutions in the governorate with large quantities of Sibab mask devices (face mask)."

The statement added that "the value of these devices amounted to (7,238,400,000) billion dinars, pointing out that they were equipped, although they are surplus, due to the lack of actual need for them, which led to a waste of public money."

And he indicated that "the recruitment order issued by the Salah al-Din Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues, was based on the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code.
