    The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) increased the ceiling of global production levels by 640 thousand barrels per day for the months of July and August, while Iraq's share of this increase amounted to 71 thousand barrels per day, in order to compensate for the shortfall in supply and according to market requirements. 

    The official spokesman for the Ministry of Oil, Assem Jihad, said that the amount of production that was previously determined in accordance with the agreement for each of the producing countries according to percentages, corresponds to the actual amount of production, noting that Iraq achieves good revenues and in lower export quantities, and this enhances the value of financial revenues. Crude oil exporter. 

    He added that Iraq is currently exporting about 3 million and 300 thousand barrels per day, and it achieved revenues of more than 11 billion dollars last month.

     He explained that the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has set Iraq's production quota at 4,580,000 barrels per day, and as of next month, with a new increase of 71,000 barrels per day, noting that Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar confirmed in previous statements that Iraq could produce more than 4,800 million barrels. thousand barrels per day.

     Jihad indicated that (OPEC Plus) and research and specialized bodies in the organization are monitoring the developments of the global oil market during the next stage, as well as reviewing technical reports in order to prepare recommendations for the next ministerial meeting, according to the variables and developments of the oil market, and in a manner that leads to more stability and the required balance.
