    Informed sources revealed that three Israeli Mossad officers were targeted by a drone in Erbil.

    The sources said that the bombing that hit Erbil on Wednesday evening was carried out by an Iranian modern-generation drone, targeting a vehicle carrying three Israeli Mossad officers, all of whom were killed by the bombing, one of them a senior coordinating official.

    The sources confirmed that the Mossad team's vehicle was targeted less than half an hour after the Kurdish and Israeli teams left their meeting in a large restaurant on the Salah al-Din summer resort, and that the vehicle whose photo was spread is of escorting Kurdish security forces, was affected by fragments of the other wheel.

    According to the sources, the Kurdish authorities rushed to publish the picture of the wheel of the Kurdish security team, and the pictures of the injured, to achieve a first and divert attention from the Mossad team, whose wheel was destroyed... for fear that leaking the truth from any side would confirm the credibility of the Iranian allegations that Erbil embraced the Mossad, and justified its previous bombing of one of its headquarters. In addition to the severe embarrassment of the regional authorities, as only days passed since the Iraqi parliament voted on a law criminalizing normalization with the Zionist entity.

    The sources denied knowing whether the Iranian-made plane was launched from Iranian or Iraqi territory, but they indicated that an operation of this level of planning and importance requires the expertise of a state.
