    A member of the Victory Coalition, Aqeel Al-Rudaini, confirmed, on Sunday, that the tripartite coalition wanted to present an achievement in front of its masses by approving the Food Security Law and passing it in the House of Representatives, while indicating that the law had not been studied in depth and poorly formulated.

    Al-Rudaini said in an interview with the Information Agency, that “food security has not been studied in a deep and deliberate manner,” suggesting that “a problem may arise in approving the budget, given that many of the paragraphs approved in the law have an extension in the budget.”
    And he indicated that “the provisions of the law, we find many of them refer to more than one thing, for example, the sources of financing are from the state’s treasury or the surplus funds that are harvested from oil or any other source. By the other source, we mean borrowing or trying to obtain money in other ways and it is calculated within the law.”
    He added, "In terms of the idea, we are not against the law and trying to support food security in light of difficult circumstances, international and regional wars, global rise in prices, desertification, lack of food and other economic problems, but the problem is not in this way," stressing that "the wording was poor and ill-considered, and we needed more time. And more understanding about the law.”
    A member of the Victory Coalition explained that “the tripartite coalition wanted to have an achievement in front of the public by presenting and approving the Food Security Law in the House of Representatives,” noting that “there will be an appeal from some deputies in the Federal Court, and the court’s opinion remains the decisive one, considering that it is not right Parliament will pass a law that includes a financial aspect or costs the state.” Ended / 25 ر
