    The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Hassan Nazim, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding for tourism cooperation with the Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage Izzatollah Dargami.

    The Minister of Culture said during a press conference on the occasion, that "his current visit at the head of a high-ranking cultural delegation to Tehran came with the aim of activating joint artistic, cultural and tourism programs and projects with relevant Iranian officials."
    Nazim added, "His talks with the Iranian side dealt with a package of cultural, tourism and archaeological files that are in the interest of the two neighboring countries, and also focused on organizing the process of entering the holy shrines between the two countries, especially the ceremonies of the fortieth visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him."
