Today, Monday, the Federal Integrity Commission confirmed that the judicial authorities issued 28 arrest and recruitment orders against high-ranking people during the month of May.
A statement by the commission stated that "the judicial authorities issued 28 arrest and summons warrants against the background of cases investigated by the commission's investigation directorates and offices in Baghdad and the provinces, and referred them to the judiciary."
He added, "Among those orders issued against high-ranking officials for the period from (1-31/5/2022), 4 arrest warrants, and 24 recruitment orders," noting that "the orders issued and executed included arrest and recruitment orders. The right of a current parliament member, two former and former ministers, and (8) governors, including three former, and (5) former governors.
He explained, "The orders issued during the month of May included (5) current general managers, and (9) former managers."
