Al-Hamami said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "the government has contributed greatly to the impoverishment of the people due to the high prices and the state of depression in the local markets," noting that "the government's economic performance is still Below the required level, as it proved its failure to lift the citizen out of his bitter reality and caused an increase in the poverty rate, according to official statistics.
He pointed out that "the continuing rise in poverty rates is a dangerous indicator that cannot be overlooked by the economic crisis that the Al-Kazemi government has fabricated," noting that "the problem is further exacerbated in light of the continuous rise in unemployment and poverty rates, especially in the southern governorates."
The representative of Al-Muthanna Governorate, Muhammad Rasoul Al-Rumaithi, had earlier accused the outgoing government of causing a rise in poverty rates in the governorate due to the wrong economic procedure. / Ended 25 h
