The "frame" in al-Abadi's house... an "emergency" parliamentary session to pass the replacements of Sadr's representatives
Shafaq News / The coordination framework will hold, on Monday evening, a meeting at the leadership level, at the home of the head of the victory coalition, Haider al-Abadi.
Shafaq News Agency learned that the meeting will discuss ways of "holding an emergency session of the House of Representatives, which includes voting to resolve the Sadrist bloc's replacements, and taking the constitutional oath of the new deputies."
Today's meeting is scheduled to discuss "the possibility of moving the coordination framework on the Kurdish parties and the Alliance of Sovereignty, Resolve and Independents, to form the largest bloc and the next government."
Yesterday, Sunday, Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi signed the Diwaniyah orders regarding the resignation of the Sadrist bloc’s deputies from Parliament, where he signed an order to disband his first deputy, Hakim Al-Zamili, in addition to more than 70 Diwaniyah orders ending the Sadrist bloc’s relationship with Parliament.
On June 13, al-Sadr directed the Sadrist bloc’s representatives in the Iraqi parliament to hand over their resignations to the speaker of the parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi.
Al-Halbousi signed these resignations in the presence of the head of the parliamentary bloc, Hassan Al-Adhari, and then commented, by saying: "Their resignations took place reluctantly," referring to efforts made to dissuade Al-Sadr from this step.
