For the fifth month, Iraq is the fourth largest oil exporter to South Korea
Shafaq News/ The South Korean Customs Administration revealed, on Wednesday, that Iraq ranked fourth for the fifth consecutive month as the largest oil exporter to South Korea during the month of May 2022.
A statistic of the administration, seen by Shafak News Agency, showed that Iraq came as the fourth largest oil exporter to South Korea during the month of May, with a rate of 6.937 million barrels, an increase of 6.9% from last April, in which exports amounted to 6.488 million barrels, an increase of 44% over the same period. From 2021, exports amounted to 4.188 million barrels.
She added that "the quantity of Iraqi crude oil exported to South Korea for the first five months of the current year 2022 from January, February, March, April and May amounted to 29.439 million barrels, an increase of 18.9% over the same period in 2021, which amounted to 24.758 million barrels."
According to the table, Saudi Arabia ranked first as the largest oil exporter to South Korea last May, with a quantity of 29.027 million barrels, followed by the United States of America, with a quantity of 9.895 million barrels, and then Kuwait third, with a quantity of 8.629 million barrels, and then Qatar came fifth, with a quantity of 5.041 million barrels.
The UAE came sixth with a quantity of 4.898 million barrels, Australia seventh with a quantity of 3.929 million barrels, Kazakhstan eighth with a quantity of 3.179 million barrels, then Mexico ninth with a quantity of 2.461 million barrels, and finally the United Kingdom tenth with a quantity of 1.989 million barrels.
