Earth News/ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Saturday, the solution to the passport crisis of Iraqi students in Iran.
Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement received by Earth News, "With exceptional efforts from the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Tehran, today all the passports of Iraqi students in various Iranian universities were handed over to the Residency Department in Tehran and from there to the Ministry of Science."
Al-Sahaf added that "the Iranian Ministry of Science has handed over passports to universities," noting that "every Iraqi student in Iran can review his university to receive his passport."
He pointed out that "in the event that there are late cases, students should review the Iraqi embassy in Tehran, and they will be followed up urgently."
