Allocating more than 90 billion dinars to implement 162 service projects in Erbil
Shafaq News/ Erbil Governorate announced on Thursday that the Kurdistan Regional Government has allocated more than 90 billion dinars to implement and complete 162 service projects during the year 2022 within the governorates development projects in the region.
The head of the local government of Erbil, Omid Khoshnaw, said in a press conference held today and attended by Shafak News Agency, that the number of service projects allocated to the governorate by the regional government for this year is 162 service projects with a financial cost of 91 billion and 277 million dinars.
He explained that these projects will be divided into two sections, one of which is new projects: 128 projects, and the second section is the completion of the suspended projects for the year 2021 and the past years, a total of 34 projects.
Khoshnaw also indicated that the projects will be distributed to the eight districts of the governorate, taking into account the balance between them, noting that most of the projects will include areas and cities outside the governorate center where services have not been completed.
The head of the local government continued by saying that the projects include various sectors, including paving roads, extending sewage lines, health and education, within the development projects of the provinces of the region, in addition to other strategic projects that will be announced later.
