    Information/special...
A member of the Summit Center for Strategic Studies, Muhammad Al-Kahlawi, confirmed, on Thursday, that Turkey is trying to starve Iraq into submitting to normalization with the Zionist entity, while accusing Al-Kazemi’s government of agreeing with Ankara to implement this matter.

Al-Kahlawi said in an interview with Al-Information that "there is an agreement between Turkey and the Iraqi government to increase drought by reducing the water quotas allocated to the country to try to push Iraq towards normalization with Israel," stressing that "Turkey's construction of many dams is a deliberate step to reduce Iraq's water in order to It remains dry without life and annihilates all its vital capabilities.”
He continued, "Turkey is fighting Iraq with the water file because it has ambitions in oil and gas and also to increase trade exchange between the two countries," noting that "Turkey violates the law in establishing a new dam 35 kilometers away from Iraq, and this is in violation of international norms."
He added, "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi is supposed to deal with the water file in a clear and frank manner and take an international move to stop Turkey and the policy of reducing its water quotas."
In 2018, the same scene was repeated after the completion of the Ilisu Dam within the Turkish water policy represented by its huge project “GAP” that includes the construction of 22 dams and 19 hydroelectric stations to reclaim 1.9 million hectares on the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, which caused a reduction in the waters of the two rivers.
