    [size=45]On Monday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that there are no job grades or appointments in the Emergency Support Law for Food Security and Development, with the exception of the thousand job grades assigned to each governorate except for the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
    [size=45]Committee member Sajjad Salem said that "the food security law did not include job grades or appointments, and there are only 15,000 degrees allocated to the governorates at a rate of 1,000 degrees for each governorate."[/size]
    [size=45]And he indicated that "according to the law, there is 15,000 degrees for the employment of graduates working in the form of a temporary contract, with a monthly salary of 300,000 dinars for a period of three years."[/size]
    [size=45]Several Iraqi governorates witnessed demonstrations that preceded and followed the adoption of the Emergency Support Law for Food Security and Development, regarding appointments and the installation of contract employees, the most prominent of which was the evacuation of the Parliament building, on June 7, 2022, from all representatives and employees for fear of “breaking into” the demonstrators of the Ministry of Electricity contracts who gathered Hundreds of them were from Baghdad and the provinces in front of the Green Zone gate on the side of the Al-Rasheed Hotel, specifically opposite the Parliament building, and frictions occurred with the security forces, resulting in the injury of at least three demonstrators.[/size]
    [size=45]The Parliamentary Finance Committee had announced, on June 6, 2022, that contract employees would not be fixed on permanent owners within the food support law prepared by the committee and that it was within the budget’s competence, while it indicated that the Ministry of Finance did not respond to two official letters from the committee on how to deal with lecturers and contracts. and daily wages and transfer them according to Resolution 315.[/size]
