    Alsumaria News - Baghdad
The Parliamentary Agriculture, Water and Marsh Committee issued today, Thursday, a statement, condemning the Turkish bombing on Iraqi lands, and included recommendations regarding cutting water to Iraq.

The committee's statement included 8 recommendations, including calling for a general parliamentary session to discuss the water situation in the presence of the relevant ministers, and launching an intense international campaign to clarify Iraq's dangerous situation as a result of building dams in upstream countries and changing the course of cross-border rivers.

The committee called on the foreign minister to summon the ambassadors of Turkey and Iran and hand them protest notes and a call for dialogue and negotiation, and not to overstep Iraq in establishing any water facility that might harm its interests and water shares.
