Baghdad / Obelisk: Representative of the State of Law, Muhammad Hassan Al-Shammari, clarified, Thursday, 07/21/2022, that the Iraqi political performance is weak in the face of the repeated Turkish attacks on northern Iraq.
Al-Shammari said that the members of the House of Representatives signed today a document to hold an emergency session of the House of Representatives to discuss the repercussions of the Turkish bombing and to host Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and the Minister of Defense, explaining that the representatives signed the document without referring to the political blocs.
The deputy added that nothing will happen to prevent Turkey from repeating what happened in Dohuk because the Iraqi political performance is weak, stressing that there are other ways to pressure Turkey to stop the repeated bombing operations, including stopping trade exchange and severing diplomatic relations.
Al-Shammari pointed out that if Iraq does not possess a national political will and a strong army capable of protecting Iraq, the violations will continue.
