Twenty-seven officers from the Ministry of Interior took the legal oath, at the headquarters of the Baghdad Court of Appeal, Rusafa, to give them the authority of a judicial investigator.
The head of the appeal, Judge Imad Jaber Al-Jabri, said during the swearing-in ceremony, according to a statement by the judiciary’s media, and received by the National News Center, that “your work represents the basis in criminal cases,” calling for “be careful because people’s rights are a trust to you, indicating that work must be done.” It shall be based on honesty and integrity and work to achieve the right.”
Al-Jabri hoped that "the work will be up to the responsibility entrusted to you in the next stage, especially since many of the judges have become dependent on competent investigation officers thanks to the professionalism and integrity they enjoy."
