The prominent data that accompanied the arrival of the American mediator in the  #border demarcation negotiations can be summarized

The navy between  #Lebanon  and Israel  #Amos Hochstein To Beirut yesterday, they are considered precursors to the most prominent development in more than ten years, that is, between the former American mediators Frederick Hof and the current Hochstein. Although the pillars of the ruling were placed in a preliminary atmosphere prior to Hochstein’s return regarding the “positives” in the Israeli response, which he will convey to the Lebanese proposal that he received on his previous visit, the matter gained credibility yesterday, a few hours after the American mediator began his tour with a number of officials in preparation for meetings. Which he will hold today with all President Michel Aoun, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, knowing that these meetings will take place successively in the daylight hours after the military celebration that the three presidents will attend in the morning on the occasion of Army Day. And what increased doubts about the party’s “dread” about the possibility of progress towards a settlement of demarcation and the extraction of gas and oil, the remarkable position once again taken by Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib regarding Hezbollah’s presentation of a video threatening to bomb Israeli platforms, as he declared that it did not represent the position of the Lebanese state regarding A repetition of his previous position regarding Hezbollah sending rallies over the Karish field. Which highlights the position of the Covenant and the President of the Republic personally, who is primarily concerned with negotiating the demarcation file, and therefore does the position of the Minister of Foreign Affairs constitute a dedication to a distinction between the positions of the state and “Hezbollah” that will appear in the coming hours? What will the party's position be if signs of flexibility appear in the position of the Covenant and, consequently, the presidents, from what they will learn today from the American mediator? Is it going to escalate...
